Aged 2 years in French oak barrels. In a warm site and ever-warming climate, Claudio Radenti rightly considers shiraz to be 'the next best thing for Freycinet', increasing plantings more than 5–fold in the past 8 years (though still just 1.1ha). If this is what he can conjure in a cool season, he's on to something! Graced with beautifully distinctive white pepper over an elegant core of satsuma plum skin. Powder-fine mineral tannins weave a wonderful web of structure amidst vibrant acidity, promising a very long future.
