Mike Farmilo from Connor's Farm is the driver here, delivering a lovely rich and typically chunky plum and berry soaked number. It's plump, it's powerful and yet it's much more moderate than you'd expect.

Chunky McLaren Vale red with all the trimmings.

Expert Reviews

94 Points - Sam Kim - Wine OrbitWonderfully ripe and gorgeously fragrant, the wine shows black/blueberry, sweet plum, cocoa and cedar characters on the nose with a hint of thyme. The palate offers terrific fruit intensity and plump mouthfeel, beautifully complemented by fine texture and silky tannins, finishing long and delectable. At its best: now to 2027. AU$24.00.

Plum and dark berry compote nose with a flash of vanilla, the palate dry and powerful with surprising tannins to finish.

Deep purple in colour, this McLaren Vale Shiraz exhibits intense aromas of black plums, cocoa and cedar. On the palate, cherries and spices cascade with milk chocolate. Polished with a smooth and juicy finish.
