A fresh, vivid red with currant and lemon-rind aromas and flavors. Medium body, integrated tannins and a creamy finish. Drink or hold.

Neal Martin - Vinous

The 2017 Fourcas-Dupré has a light red cherry and cranberry scented bouquet with touches of vanilla and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin and feels pleasantly fresh in the mouth. There is nothing overly complex here, but it deserves applause for the harmony on the finish. It will constitute and early-drinking Listrac.

Jacques Perrin - Vinifera

Légère prise de bois au nez, mais fruit mûr et frais sous-jacent. Vin de demi-corps, souple, classique dans sa forme et dans son goût.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW - Wine Advocate

The 2017 Fourcas-Dupre is medium to deep garnet-purple in color with an earthy nose of truffles and damp soil over a core of blackberries and black currants. The palate is medium-bodied and just a tad lean in the middle with a grippy finish.

Jacques Dupont - Le Point

Fruits noirs, bouche ronde, onctueuse, des saveurs de cerise et de baies noires, bonne longueur, vin équilibré et savoureux, en finesse. 16/20
