This Toscan blend is made from a tiny 3 hectare vineyard plented with international grape varieties, with 250m above sea level and planted on calcareous clay. It's a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are all hand harvested at different times, each start their ferment in stainless steel vats with daily pumps over and a 25 days maceration. The wine is then aged in french oak barrels (225 Litres) for 15 months. 2016 Fornace - 96 Points - James Suckling"Blackcurrants, blackberries, violets and hints of dark chocolate on the nose.
