This is a stonkingly good Grigio from Steve Pannell that would be great with fish or veggie dishes. Typical PG aromas of pears and apples rise from the glass, along with some intriguing dairy and ginger spice. The palate is quite lush and juicy, with more pears and stone fruits in its flavours, a subtly creamy mouthfeel, and a crisp appley finish. Lovely!

This is a very convincing version of grigio that offers much more than most others manage to capture, with lovely lemon-drenched apple and pear fruits, lightly floral fragrance too, hints of white peach, pastry and spice. The palate s soft and fleshy, with bright pear and apple flavour, pulling gently grippy as it goes, and a clean dismount. Terrific.

Steve Pannell's first venture into pinot grigio (or gris), possibly at the urging of his bank manager or wife (or both). An interesting wine, marching to its own drum, the flavours swelling on the finish and aftertaste, dry but full of nashi/brown skin pear fruit.
