2016 Quintessa

When founders Agustin and Valeria Huneeus first set eyes on the diverse landscape that would become the Quintessa Estate, they knew they had the opportunity to plant a vineyard for the ages. To this day, they maintain a holistic approach to their stewardship of the land in order to ensure that every action is thoughtful and sustainable. This includes organic farming from the very creation of their vineyard, and then biodynamic. Their holistic approach goes beyond just vine growing, to encompass the whole estate, thought as a complete ecosystem, whose life and diversity will enrich the character of the fruits. Quintessa is a real "Cru", producing one wine, authenticly Napa, but crafted with a singular focus on freshness, and ageing potential. We have known Quintessa, and the estate's team for many years. We are extremely confident that now, with vintage 2016, is the right time for them to join our September campaign.
