How’s it taste?

Fragrant aromas of dark cherry, spice and savoury earthy notes on the nose that continue onto the palate. A brooding style of Pinot with silky tannins for a well-balanced and lengthy finish.

Who made it?

For many years Joe and Cindy Constanzo searched for the perfect vineyard to create wines their forebears would be proud of today. They wanted a place that was relatively isolated so they could realise their goal of viticulture and wine making along biodynamic and organic practices. They love the idea of maintaining tradition, but with a modern twist! Joe and Cindy first discovered the vineyard in 2008 and instantly knew it was exceptional, but it wasn't to be at that time and they missed out. They focused on enjoying those first years with their two young boys and kept searching for another place that would compare, but it didn't seem to exist. In 2011 fate stepped in again, gave them another opportunity and here they are today! Joe and Cindy love to share the vineyard with family and friends and as time goes by they look forward to further integrating both viticultural and business practices that support their philosophy of minimal intervention and of giving back to the earth and to the causes and charities they support from a social justice perspective.
