Presented in a beautiful gift box (crafted from 50% hemp and 50% recycled paper) with a brown wood pattern that's a nod to the oak casks the champagne has been partially aged in, it has an immense ageing potential of more than 15 years. On the nose, there are initial citrusy notes of orange, grapefruit and lemon zest followed by fruitier nuances of dried apricots, dates and marmalade. Next, buttery pastry aromas of biscuit, brioche and toast unfold, along with honey and roasted almonds and hazelnuts. On the palate Elegant, tense and mineral in the mouth, you can expect a complex, lively champagne with a pleasing and lasting finish.

The 2015 Champagne season unfolded with remarkable warmth, accompanied by minimal rainfall and abundant sunshine, nurturing grapes that yielded wines of exceptional concentration and structure. Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2015 emerges as a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, blending 50% pinot noir sourced from esteemed grand cru and premier cru villages, alongside 30% chardonnay and 20% meunier. Each grape varietal lends its distinct character to the blend: the pinot noir contributes robust structure, while the chardonnay imparts elegance and finesse, with the meunier delicately rounding out the composition. Vinified and aged in large oak casks, comprising 10% of the process, this wine gains strength, aromatic intensity, and an added layer of complexity.
