The Brief
How's it taste?
This is typically the saltiest, most mineral wine in the Agrapart range. Like all the Agrapart wines the quality is remarkably consistent, with the only variation due to vintage. The 2015 is precisely what you might expect from this cuvée in a more powerful year. It’s deep and layered yet still bright and saline, with preserved lemon notes as well as a salty, nutty complexity and a long, earthy close. Terrific now, it will certainly benefit from one to three years on cork.
How was it made?
Always a vintage champagne, this cuvee comes from two selected vineyard blocks (Bionnes in CRAMANT and Champbouton in AVIZE) with the same geological profile. A thin layer of soil barely covering the chalk.
Precise, savory, and saline, Minéral offers us the chalky dimension of the terroir.
Disgorged 2 months before the release date and dosage limited at 3 grams of sugar per liter.
