James Molesworth - Wine Spectator
Bay and sage notes lead the way, followed by a core of plum and red currant fruit. Displays moderate toast on the finish, where a sanguine edge marries with light leafy hints. —J.M.

Antonio Galloni MW - Vinous
The 2013 La Garde possesses good intensity, but the tannins remain a bit rough around the edges. Smoke, tobacco, incense and dark fruit emerge, but only with great reluctance.

Steven Spurrier - Decanter
Fine floral and cassis nose, good fleshy fruit with Graves earthy grip in the middle, good depth. 16/20

Richard Hemming MW - JancisRobinson.com
Bright, ripe berry fruit and intense black liquorice and aniseed on the mid palate. Hale and hearty – no ailments here. 16/20
