Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London. The 2011 Le Boscq has a high-toned earthy bouquet with marine-like scents, brine and touches of seaweed. You can almost smell the Atlantic. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip on the entry. This is a nicely focused, simple but fresh Cru Bourgeois with clean crisp black tobacco and cedar-infused fruit on the finish. Light but better than I expected given its showing in barrel. Tasted September 2013.

Tiefes Purpur, satt in der Mitte, Granatschimmer am Rand. Berauschendes Cassisbouquet, fein florale Cabernet-Würze, gefällt bereits in der Nase und sticht heraus. Im Gaumen fast seidig, cremige Textur, etwas Kokos und viel Kirschen in jeglischer Form. Wie immer mit viel Erotik augestattet. Wobei diesr Le Boscq absolut kein Bluff ist, sondern von den Gerbstoffen her genau das Jahrgangepotenzial deklariert. 2015-2031 17/20
