You can mark Andrew Peace down as the most important winemaker you've never heard of.

That because nearly all his wines are export focused, with his winery ranking amongst the Top 20 biggest in Australia, even though he sells very little locally.

But the recent global pandemic has changed everything. Suddenly, Andrew's export markets have dried up and so we're seeing some of his wines again - just like this premium Clare Valley Riesling.

Aged at the winery for ten years, it is now generous and toasty, with layers of flavour at every turn. There's still lovely crisp citrus but now with all these generous honeyed edges making for a really satisfying drink.

Expert Reviews

91 Points - Roger Jones - DecanterStill youthful for its age with its Granny Smith apple and zippy lemon juice characters, yet it is showing that lanolin, kerosene and toasty evolution in a charming way.
87 Points - James Halliday - Halliday's Wine CompanionBright straw-green; is in the toasty/minerally spectrum, except for one thing: its subliminal touch of sweetness designed to bolster the overall light flavours.

How's it taste?

Crisp acidity and citrus notes blend with toasty elements in this dry aged Riesling with secondary characters of honey, orange rind and kerosene.

How was it made?

This is my premium collection that I have personally selected from vineyards across Australia. The grapes produced are low-yielding to give you great concentration of fruit flavours and I use only the best winemaking techniques possible.
