Collection: Cave de Cairenne

The palette is rich in a diversity of soils, composed of stony materials, clay-limestone, yellow marls, red clays sometimes with sandy veins. The climatic conditions are original and exceptional due to the excesses of the powerful "Mistral" which alternates between periods of violent windy episodes and periods of relative mildness. The significant thermal amplitude between day and night in our vineyard is also an asset in terms of the production of high quality wines. These elements give rise to the characters of finesse and elegance of Cairanne wines. Added to this is low rainfall and significant sunshine, enhanced by the south-facing exposure of the hillsides of our vineyard. These climatic elements promote perfect ripening of the grapes, allowing the Cave de Cairanne to produce great reference wines over the years. The vineyards are mainly made up of old vines planted on hillsides, where the exposure of the plots and their natural drainage favor a production of very high quality. The assets of our terroir, the singularity of the climatic conditions and the rigorous selection of the grapes are the secret of the complexity and high quality of our products.
