Andrew Harris Vineyards

Andrew Harris Vineyards began when Andrew and Debbie Harris purchased and restored an old sheep station located just to the South of Mudgee in 1991. Soon after purchasing the property Andrew discovered the unique clay and limestone solids on the property which lead him to plant vines, as limestone in particular has shown itself to be an important foundation in the production of fine wine. Within just two years of his first vintage, James Halliday awarded Andrew Harris Vineyards four and a half out of a possible five stars illustrating the monumental rise in stature witnessed at this estate, so much so that it was soon Mudgee’s biggest selling brand throughout Australia and internationally. Today Andrew Harris Vineyards remain committed to the consistent production of quality wines. Location: Situated north west of Sydney just outside Mudgee, Andrew Harris Vineyards sits on the slopes of an ancient volcano, sheltered from the extreme weather conditions typically experienced in the Western plains region. Wine Types: Andrew Harris Vineyards produces a variety of wine styles including Chardonnay, Verdelho, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Sparkling Shiraz.
